EXECUTIVE PASTRY CHEF/CO-OWNER
Whitnie started Paper Cake back in 2013, while she was working as a Pastry Chef in Paso Robles, CA. She attended Le Cordon Bleu in Pasadena and graduated with her degree in Patisserie and Baking. While working in fine dining she saw the potential of the wedding industry on the central coast and decided to pursue a different direction in her career. While her specialty is cake design she enjoys all aspects of the pastry world. She thrives to create new and exciting edible treats that look just as good as they taste! Whitnie and Casey partnered up in 2016 to create what is now PAPER CAKE EVENTS.
With her background in wedding coordination and floral design Casey and Whitnie instantly started brainstorming potential businesses they could create together. Casey's love for design helps her create new and exciting dessert displays for all types of clientele. Her love for food has bloomed into a knowledge for pastries and baking as well. She loves hand painting cakes/cookies and decorating all the signature treats. While both ladies work side by side in both the office and the kitchen, these are 2 business owners who are fully invested in their bespoke trade.
