How early should I contact you? We book out anywhere from 6-18 months in advance. Depending on your date, I would suggest booking ALL your vendors asap!
Do you Deliver?Yes, we charge a 100$ one way flat rate fee for all wedding deliveries. If you choose to go with our full rental package round trip delivery and pick up is 150$.
How many desserts do you suggest per guest?Our personal recommendation is 3 pieces per guest. This number can alter depending on the types of desserts you want.
Do you provide all the rentals and decor on the table?Yes! This is what we specialize in. We've been expanding our collection and building our inventory for the past 4 years and add new pieces weekly!
Can you provide florals for the cake and table?We can, but we would prefer that you coordinate with your florist about matching flowers and greenery so that everything is cohesive. We add flowers to the cake and table free of charge and always suggest factoring that into your budget. Flowers make a HUGE difference on desserts tables.
Can we taste the cake before hand?YES! We absolutely recommend it if you're able. We allot at least an hour for the tasting and do a full consult in the same day. We'll chat, eat cake, drink champagne and hash out all the details. It's fun, you don't want to skip this part! We can have up to 6 people. Check out our tasting section for more info.
Should we save the top of the cake?You know, it's totally up to the couple. We don't suggest it because lets be real.... eating cake a year from now won't taste that great. But the tradition is fun and supposed to be good luck. We also offer Anniversary cakes, so if you live in the area or are planning a trip back to the central coast... we can make a mini version of your wedding cake to enjoy fresh!
Do you do wedding favors? Yes, we have a lot of options. Our monogramed sugar cookies or french macarons make a wonderful gift that are delicious and custom!
Do you provide plates or napkins? No, we only bring the decor and platters for display.
Do you provide cake toppers?We work with a local calligraphist and specialize in making custom toppers! Ask us how to order one for your big day.
Do you style and set everything up? Yes! We extensivley coordinate with your event planner and arrive at the best time to set up and style the dessert table. Depending on weather and venue, we display all the desserts upon arrival. Some of our desserts require refrigeration until service.
Does the weather make a difference in the desserts we choose? Yes, oh yes. We are based in a very HOT area. During our consult we'll talk about the desserts to avoid in the hot months.
Do you make fake cakes? Yes. Fake cakes are a great alternative to a real cake, especially if you are getting married in North County from June-August. Temps will reach the 100's and real cake gets tricky. No one wants a melty mess!
Why do you require a wedding coordinator? There are so many elements that go along with the scheduling of a wedding. Each vendor is in charge of something important and there needs to be one contact person for all of these people to make sure the day goes smoothly. We put so much work into our tables and rely heavily on steady communication with the wedding planner/coordinator. It's a must for us!
What is your deposit? We require a 100$ holding fee that will go toward your final payment. This fee is good for brides that would like to reserve a spot early in the booking process. Because sometimes booking a tasting can't happen right away. This $100 fee shows us that you are a serious inquiry and we will hold your date until we can book a tasting. This fee is NON-refundable. Your official deposit is 50% of your final total. This is due within 1 month of the custom proposal being sent. We cannot send a proposal until we do a tasting. Exceptions can be made for out of town clients. Your final payment is due 2 weeks before your event date, these payments are also non-refundable.
